Crescent Moon Ear Climbers

Crescent Moons appear before and after a New Moon, either waxing (increasing) or waning (decreasing). The New Moon is a period when the Moon stations between Earth and the Sun, causing the Moon's dark side to appear to Earth. The Moon leaves us in darkness, encouraging us to have faith in the path ahead; to set our intentions for the future; and to believe in our strength when we can't see what's in front of us. The Crescent Moon Ear Climbers are symbolic of welcoming new beginnings after dark times, envisioning your greatest dreams and aspirations, while staying dedicated to the journey. This is a great time to reaffirm your power and strength through affirmations. As you take each step in confidence, know that you'll reach your end goal in the most substantial way for you. 

Each earring is shaped and hammered by hand, curved inward to mimic the shape of the inner ear where the earring will lay against. I've intentionally textured each earring to emulate the craters on the Moon, perfectly capturing the light with each turn while balancing the light and dark. You can even wear these facing downward so they’ll really look like a sliver of the Moon. Ear backs are not included for this style, as the wire grips to the ear lobe. The wire fits a 20 gauge lobe piercing.

• Approximately 3/8" in length for the Small style, 3/4" in length for the Large style
• Approximately a 1/4" long wire back to hold the earring against the ear lobe, and a 3/16" width space for the ear lobe to fit into
• 1 gram in weight
• Please expect slight imperfections, as these are fully made by hand

Where specified, certain jewelry styles can be customized (think birthstones, Morse Code messages, and stamped names). When customizing pieces and leaving a custom note before checkout, please double check your spelling and confirm what you’ve received in your order confirmation email is correct. While they’re amazing pieces to gift others, they cannot be refunded or exchanged because they are made special for you (though they can be altered if they get to you and don’t fit just right).

Customized pieces include: any piece of jewelry that you’ve added a personalization to before checkout under “Special instructions”, or any custom projects that we've communicated about together. To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, I highly recommend treating it with care. Every customer receives a polishing cloth with their first order to prolong the shine of the jewelry and remove any dirt that accumulates over time.
