Bi-annual Price Updates

Every January 1st and July 1st, I update prices to reflect the current metal costs and market shifts. Where needed, prices will be increased or decreased, based on the costs of my supplies. Just because some prices will go up (or come down) for each six month period, doesn't mean they will always be that way. It's my goal to provide you all with incredibly high quality, intentionally-made jewelry; to me, that means sourcing the best materials; keeping up to date with costs; brainstorming smarter techniques; and bringing you jewelry that you don't have to compromise for. In addition to updating the prices, I will also be updating the product images with my most recent techniques, so you're viewing the most up-to-date product. I'm grateful to receive orders from you that allow me to better my jewelry-making skills, and these bi-annually updated pictures will reflect my growth.

Price Markups

The average markup for jewelry products is about 200% to cover jewelry costs, business expenses, employees, overhead, wholesale costs, and to make a profit. As I'm the sole artist and employee at Flux Studio, I market my pieces at a 75-80% markup. In my prices, I account for my jewelry supplies, paper supplies, shipping supplies, subscriptions/advertising, jewelry tool maintenance - any type of business expense. Not all of these expenses are included in the COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) of each product, but they're accounted for in the long-run to keep my business afloat. I have low margins because I have low costs and I work from home, and I strive to cover my bases while making a profit and being able to build savings that can be put towards future business opportunities. I say this all to be transparent and honest about the costs of running a business, being my own boss, and being a human.

Price Adjustments/Refunds

Any price adjustments made after any purchases will be made at my discretion.
