ABOUT TOURMALINE: Tourmaline is a vibrant, colorful stone that brings wellness in many forms, depending on the color of each gem. Tourmaline works well with all chakras, from the Root to Crown Chakras. For example: Black Tourmaline works well with the Root Chakra to bring grounding, clearing, and protection, while Blue Tourmaline works well with the Third Eye Chakra to enhance your intuitive, psychic abilities. This is a great stone to help you align your Chakras and balance all emotional, mental, and physical energies - even boosting your creativity, self-acceptance, and growth. Tourmaline is also the birthstone for those born in October and pairs well with other gemstones that correspond with the energy you want to bring in (grounding Black Tourmaline pairs with Tiger's Eye for stability; Pink Tourmaline pairs with Rose Quartz for more love and heart healing).

EARRINGS INFO: These birthstone studs feature a single gemstone wrapped with wire by hand, soldered onto an ear post. Please keep in mind that every stone is wrapped by hand and is perfectly imperfect, but still wearable. The pictures are an indication of the slight variety in wrapping - your pair will be wrapped as identically as possible.

CUSTOMIZATIONS: You can select any color shade you would like for the gemstones - see the last picture for the color variety. Leave your preferred color(s) before checkout under "Special instructions". My selection will be as close as possible to your preference. If no preference is provided, I will carefully and intuitively choose the gemstones for you.

I work quickly to create and ship your order as soon as possible. Please give 3-5 business days for your jewelry to ship. I intentionally design pieces that are long-lasting and as durable as humanly possible, for the delicate pieces they are. To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, I highly recommend treating it with care. Every customer receives a polishing cloth with their first order to prolong the shine of the jewelry and remove any dirt/tarnish that accumulates over time.

Wash jewelry with soap and warm water then dry with a soft cloth on a regular weekly basis for simple cleaning.

Apply lotions, sprays, and sanitizers before putting on jewelry.

Remove jewelry before sleeping so it won't break (excluding the Sleeper Studs when shaped to your ear).

Remove any rings before heavy lifting or manual work to ensure the rings keep their shape.

Avoid wearing jewelry in chlorine and salt water - wash with soap and warm water, then dry with a soft cloth if wet.

Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach and acetone-based cleaners, as they could damage the metal.

Feel free to use a Sterling Silver jewelry cleaner for your Sterling Silver pieces, but do not use a Gold jewelry cleaner on your Gold Filled pieces. Solid Gold is not the same as Gold Filled.

Use a gentle soft-bristled toothbrush with soap and warm water to clean between any gemstones, beads, or chain links.

Store your pieces in a jewelry pouch, box, or airtight container when not worn.

Simple maintenance practices, like gentle washing and proper storage, can effectively preserve the longevity of your favorites. I do not give refunds or replacements for jewelry that is improperly cared for, but I'm happy to help restore the jewelry's integrity, if necessary. Nurture your relationship with your jewelry by treating it with consistent care and thoughtfulness, and you’ll be together for a very long time.

As each style I create is made or assembled from scratch, please expect to see the handmade details in your jewelry. These details are what make each piece so unique and incomparable.

Keep in mind that each piece requires and deserves thoughtful care and attention when wearing and polishing.

Where specified, certain jewelry styles can be customized (think birthstones, Morse Code messages, and stamped names). When customizing pieces and leaving a custom note before checkout, please double check your spelling and confirm what you’ve received in your order confirmation email is correct. While they’re amazing pieces to gift others, they cannot be refunded or exchanged because they are made special for you (though they can be altered if they get to you and don’t fit just right).

Customized pieces include: any piece of jewelry that you’ve added a personalization to before checkout under “Special instructions”, or any custom projects that we've communicated about together.
